Have you had your old favorite car sitting in the garage for years, unable to say goodbye? Or maybe you picked up a rare chassis as a project car with a plan to rebuild it, but just haven’t had the time. Either way, we’d be honored to help bring your vehicle back to life. This route of obtaining the car is great because, well, you already have it! Keep in mind that restoration costs are not included in our standard package price, so any paint, body, or upholstery work you need will be additional.

Do you spend your evenings perusing used car listings, awing at that one that you always had postered on your wall? We’re happy to help you find the best vehicle for our process. There are certain things we look for when selecting a donor vehicle that can help speed up our build process later on. On prior builds, we have found a car for the customer, facilitated the transaction, and set up the shipping of the car straight to our shop.

It may seem obvious, but the best donor car is in pristine aesthetic condition but has an engine and transmission that need replacing. Unfortunately, these are quite rare, since generally, an owner who cleans and polishes a car also changes the oil regularly. The next best sort of car is one that’s been well-kept inside and out. We do our best to recycle and reuse as much as we can from the donor vehicle, so if the engine still has life left in it, we will find a buyer who can better use it.

Of course, the money from that sale will be subtracted from your total invoice. The final type of donor, and the least ideal, is the major project car. The work required to bring a dented, rusted shell back to life can rack up very quickly and we have to pass that cost onto you as the customer. Of course, we’re happy to discuss any vehicle you have in mind. We’ve even built an open-cockpit electric race car, so no matter the car, we’ll find a way to make it happen.
